Six Months!!!!!!

Today my sweet baby boy turned six months old! Time sure does fly. Caden's babyhood seem to zip right on by me where as Kyler's and Camden's at times seem like they haven't flown by at all. Still though I can't believe my precious boy is getting so big.

Camden Joel, you are my heart. Named after a very great man, my grandfather Joel, who played such an important role in my life. You and I are so very much in love, I do believe I am your favorite person right now in this time of your life! That is fine with me! You are such a happy, joyful baby! You always have a huge smile for me! You are a loving and curious little guy who cannot wait to be able to play with your big brothers. You watch them so intently.

At six months of age, you are wearing a size 2 diaper but could probably move up to a 3. You wear size 6 months clothing, though you can fit into some 3-6 month and 6-9 month fit. You where chunking up like a maniac and have started to slow down at around 4 months. You weighed 15 almost 16 lbs at your 4 month checkup. We go next week so we will see how big you are now.

You were doing great with breastfeeding and we were feeling so accomplished till mommy got mastits. On October 18th we started doing formula for the most part. We still nurse in the morning when we get up and right before bed and mommy is holding onto to those two feeding as long as she can (even though sometimes I still have to supplement afterwards :( ) We have started some solids and we can definitely tell that you like fruit. You are not diggin most veggies but its still new so we will see. Mommy has made all your babyfood this time around and is very proud about that. So far we have made bananas, pears, sweet potatos, carrots, green beans, and avacado.

You have been sleeping through the night for a couple months now! You are cutting your two bottom teeth and it has not been a joyous occasion for anyone involved. Mommy has still not seen you roll over yet but I know you can do it. You hate to be on your belly for any length of time, you pretend to fly with your arms back and your legs up behind you and just scream. Oh well.

Well, that's about it on whats going on with you now that you are six months. You are such a little treasure and bring such a complete (for now!) feeling to our family! We fall more in love with you with each passing day litte CJ and we can't wait to see the person you will become! We love you and happy six months!

Kyler Patrick

Two years ago our lives changed for the better when you entered our world. You were two weeks early and surprised every one but that is just like your personality. Two years later, you are our rambunctious little man and you never stop moving. We are all so very much in love with you!

You are your big brothers champion and his worst bully! You and Caden fight like cats and dogs but you love each other so much and it shows by the giggles I hear coming out of your bedroom when the lights are turned off. Caden is so proud of you and you can tell he couldn't of asked for a better best friend!

Your little brother loves to stare into your face and grin. Camden looks just like you did when you were a baby just with hair! He loves to play with you as long as you aren't sticking your fingers up his nose or in his eyes.

Mommy and Daddy are utterly captivated with you. You are such a curious little guy always investigating and into everything. I think I tell you to get off the wood burning stove twenty times a day. You are a major momma's boy though at times there seems to be no one else more important than daddy in your world.

At two years of age, you are our curly haired little guy! You are finally starting to talk a little bit more and use sentences. You use a fork and spoon to eat with and you are doing awesome with this. You could run all day if you had too and you have boundless amounts of energy and then proceed to crash and sleep for hours. Some days you still need two naps. You can count to ten and try to sing the whole alphabet though it isn't always understandable. You love to sing with your brother and your favorite songs are More by Matthew West and Life is a Highway from the movie Cars.

Kyler, you are such a precious part of my life and I couldn't imagine one moment without you in it. You are such a joyful and happy boy and I pray that you always keep that joy with you! Remember to let Jesus be your joy and to let him guide your path. Thank you for being my precious son and for making me to want to be a better mommy. I love you my little man!
